Quantum Copper, Inc. has been awarded a $274,610 Phase I SBIR grant by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF). This grant supports the development of halogen-free fire-retardant materials for next-generation batteries and energy storage systems (BESS). By addressing critical fire safety challenges, Quantum’s copper innovative polymers aim to improve safety, performance, and longevity in energy storage.


This milestone reflects Nevada’s growing role as a hub for energy innovation and highlights Quantum Copper’s commitment to advancing sustainable and safe-energy solutions.
