Quantum Copper, Inc. has been awarded a $274,610 Phase I SBIR grant by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF). This grant supports the development of halogen-free fire-retardant materials for next-generation batteries and energy storage systems (BESS). By addressing critical fire safety challenges, Quantum’s copper innovative polymers aim to improve safety, performance, and longevity in energy storage.
